Ready to use and super quiet while running. Makes the full cube style ice (see pic). I guarantee it will not be DOA. Comes with an installed filter and and additional new water filter. We hooked it up and let it run for several days and it produces ice perfectly without issue. Solid stainless steel, This machine is very fast and produces full cubed ice after being turned on for 1 hour. It is a stand alone unit, with front in-front out air flow to allow for an easier fit in tight spaces with no clearance needed on sides or rear. It has an ice production capacity of 650 lbs per day, and a Scotsman BH550S ice storage bin capacity of 535 lbs.
