This part was designed to replace the water inlet on Scotsman Nugget ice machines, from time to time the welds that hold the nipple onto the evaporator will break requiring costly repair of the evaporator. This kit was designed to repair the existing evaporator while still inside the machine, saving you thousands of dollars in parts and labor. This part uses a special designed clamp and a seal to replace the nipple or water inlet on the Scotmans evaporator. Step-by-step instructions are included on how to install this part with overall install time generally less than one hour for prep and install.
